Rafael Nadal on the Come Back ???

The year has been a lean one for Rafael Nadal. Losing in the quarter final at Roland Garros and then an early exit at Wimbledon during the grass court season. Trying to get back on track before he begins the hard court season he took a wild card to enter the Bet at Home German Open Championship at Hamburg. Today he defeated Pablo Cuevas of Uruguay currently number 31 in the world 6-3, 6-2. To look at the score you would think Nadal rolled over Cuevas, however that was not the case. Rafa was broken a couple of times and seemed to be playing to far back in the court on serves. As usual Rafa came up with some nice moves like when he slipped and fell to the clay surface getting up to do a pirouette returning the ball and then after a few more returns won the point. Nadal needs a confidence booster and this tournament with 500 ATP points for the champion might just do the trick. Vamos Rafa!!!

Babolat Aeropro Drive Play Tennis Racquet Review

The Babolat Aeropro Drive Play Tennis Racquet is currently my racquet of choice. I used the standard Aeropro Drive for a long time then switched to several others for a couple of years. In the end however I came back to this racquet with the additional play feature.  This tennis racquet gives me the power and spin I need, especially for the clay courts that I mostly play on. Babolat Aeropro Drive Play The play feature is amazing, showing a great amount of data for my swings, hit locations, spin, energy, number of hits. It also has a world community feature so you can see how you're doing compared to other play users, both total in the community and also in you current category. Knowing that data allows you to know strengths and weaknesses, allowing you to ask your coach for help in the specific areas needed. Using that information has helped improve my game faster and in the right areas.

And the winner is!!!

Serena Williams does it again at the French Open on June 06, 2015,  defeating the scrappy Lucie Safarova in three sets. Serena had suffered from some sort of virus only two days earlier and spent most of her time since the semi final resting and trying to recuperate. Serena clearly took the first set however...

French Open Results

Playing with power, pace and some amazing returns at critical moments Stan Wawrinka was able to defeat the number one player in the world Novak Djokovic in four sets. The score was 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 6-4 ,on June 07, 2015. The games were very close and when it seemed as though Novak would as usual find a way to break his opponent, Stan upped his game or returned an amazing shot that surprised the crowd and the announcers! Congratulations to Stan Wawrinka, winning his second major title.
